Make a Lasting Impact
Are you driven by a love for nature and a desire to foster connections between people and the environment? Do you see yourself contributing actively to your local community? If so, join the Sterling Nature Center’s volunteer team! Join us in our shared mission to inspire and educate by participating in our diverse volunteer opportunities.
1. Trail Volunteers: Become a steward of nature by maintaining and caring for our scenic trails. As a Trail Volunteer, you'll participate in trail clean-up, marking paths, and light landscaping, ensuring everyone can enjoy our beautiful outdoors.

2. Front Desk Assistants: Welcome visitors with a warm smile as a Front Desk Assistant! Your role will include greeting guests, assisting with inquiries, and managing sales from our small gift shop collection. Your friendly support and ability to provide information about the center and its programs create a positive first impression and a lasting connection with our visitors.

3. Fundraising Event Volunteers: Join our team for at least four major yearly fundraising events. Your expertise in grilling food, managing food booths, and hosting special events is vital to our success. We need servers for our popular pork roast and enthusiastic supporters for "Inspiration," our unique arts, music, and nature fundraiser.
4. Tour Guides: Are you an engaging speaker passionate about nature? As a tour guide, you'll become the face of the Sterling Nature Center, leading engaging and informative tours. Our new interpretive center is just around the corner, and we need dedicated individuals like you to bring it to life.

   The trails are open from Dawn to Dusk 

            BUILDING HOURS

Tuesday -Sunday, 10 am to 4 pm.

 Admission and parking is free.
