About The Event

The Sterling Nature Center's annual spring beach cleanup is your opportunity to THINK about the GLOBAL ENVIRONMENT and ACT LOCALLY. We are partnering with the Great Lakes Cleanup to protect our local waterways within the globally significant Great Lakes Basin. Check out www.GreatLakesCleanUP.org for other events this spring in the Great Lakes Basin.

There are also more opportunities to help keep our water clean. Join the Sterling Nature Center’s effort to clean up the Lake Ontario shoreline this weekend; bags and gloves will be available, but you are welcome to bring your own. Remember to dress for the weather, as the lakeshore can be more relaxed and windier than inland this time of year.
